Marketing Objectives
Park Garden Centres was an existing client of Creation Media. They asked Creation to formulate a launch plan for their new aquatic centre that would encourage visitors to the centre, increase sales and track campaign activity and the return on their investment.
Our Approach
Together with the Park Garden Centres marketing manager Richard Truscott, we came up with a concept to set the Aquatic Centre apart from the garden centre. We aimed to engage people both on and offline and identified what types of media reached people the most effictively.
Online, Creation ran engaging and interesting competitions. On television advertising, a 25% discount was offered on all products across the store. The campaign message was kept consistent by a brand concept that we designed. We used a whole range of different medias, including a website landing page, TV, radio, web and traditional printed media.
Results
The successful campaign led to record sales in a month in the Aquatics Centre by attracting new customers and increasing the average basket-spend. The Almondsbury Garden Centre is now bigger than before with a wide range of products that cater to various target markets.
