Spotify, the popular music streaming service, has released the new Spotify Play button that allows you to embed songs and playlists straight into your website.

Hot on the heels of it's incredibly popular facebook timeline integration, this new feature allows website owners to play music on their websites in a really easy way.

Step One - Open up Spotify and Find Your Track

Find the track you want to embed, right click on it and select "Copy Spotify URI"

Step Two - Head to the Spotify Play Generator Website

Click "Copy Embed Code" and the code that generates the track will be copied to your clipboard.

Step Three - Go to your website

If you have a CMS like wordpress or Drupal, you'll need to look for a "Source" or "HTML" button on your editor, here's an example in Drupal:

Then just go through the code to find the place in your page you want to insert your widget and post in your code and save your page.
