Gary Lineker Films Walkers Ad At Clifton Suspension Bridge

England football legend Gary Lineker was spotted in the early hours of Valentine's Day with a film crew at Clifton Suspension Bridge.

The former striker and Match of the Day presenter was seen driving a tractor over the Bristol landmark during filming for a Walkers Crisps commercial.

The 52-year-old tweeted: "Filming a Walkers crisps commercial in the West Country. Left a packet of cheese and onion at home for Valentines."

One user called Aaron Read tweeted: "Working by the suspension bridge and op [sic] pops Gary Lineker filming Walkers commercial."

He posted photos of Lineker, who was England's top scorer in FIFA World Cup finals, dressed in a farmer’s outfit, looking like he was driving a tractor across the Suspension Bridge.

Other users Tweeted their amusement at seeing the celebrity being towed by a film crew across the Suspension Bridge on a Massey Ferguson tractor.

Mr Lineker has been the face of Walkers Crisps ads since 1995, playing a tongue in cheek twist on his nice guy image by ruthlessly stealing Walkers Crisps wherever he can.

The new Walkers "home grown" TV advert is due to air nationwide on Friday, March 8.

The campaign has been so successful that Walkers handed Lineker a new three year deal at the start of 2012. His lovable but cheeky personality, combined with a clean cut image, is an advertiser’s dream combination.
